Scope
This data protection policy provides users with information about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of their data by the responsible provider.

The legal framework for data protection is provided by the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).
Withdrawal of your consent to data processing

An informal email stating this is sufficient for withdrawal. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out until such withdrawal shall remain unaffected by the withdrawal.

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

The competent supervisory authority with regard to data protection issues is the state data protection commissioner of the federal state in which our company’s registered office is located.

SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content that you send to us as the site operator, our website employs SSL/TLS encryption. Contact form
Data transmitted via the contact form, including your contact details, is stored in order to process your enquiry or to be available for follow-up questions. This data will not be disclosed without your consent.

Processing of the data entered in the contact form takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent that was previously given at any time. An informal email stating this is sufficient for withdrawal. The lawfulness of the data processing operations carried out until such withdrawal shall remain unaffected by the withdrawal. Data transmitted via the contact form will remain with us until you request us to erase it, withdraw your consent to store it or there is no longer any need to store it. Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Newsletter data
To deliver our newsletter, we require an email address from you. Verification of the email address provided is necessary and you must consent to the receipt of the newsletter. Any additional data is not collected or is voluntary. The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter.

Data entered to set up the subscription will be deleted in the event of unsubscription. If this data has been transmitted to us for other purposes and via other channels, it will continue to remain with us.

CleverReach
We use CleverReach to send newsletters. The provider is CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlenstr. 43, 26180 Rastede. This service allows us to organise and analyse the dispatch of the newsletter. The data you enter to receive the newsletter, such as your email address, is stored on CleverReach’s servers. The servers are located in Germany and/or Ireland.

Sending the newsletter with CleverReach allows us to analyse the behaviour of the newsletter recipient. The analysis reveals, among other things, how many recipients have opened their newsletter and the frequency with which links in the newsletter were clicked on. CleverReach supports conversion tracking to analyse whether a previously defined action, such as a product purchase, has taken place after clicking on a link. Order processing
To fully comply with legal data protection requirements, we have concluded an order processing agreement with CleverReach.

reCaptcha
We use the Google service reCaptcha to determine whether it is a human or a computer which has input particular data into our contact or newsletter form. Google uses the following data to verify whether you are a human or a computer: IP address of the end device used, the website of ours you visit and on which the captcha is embedded, the date and duration of the visit, the identification data of the browser and operating system type used, Google account if you are logged in to Google, mouse movements on the reCaptcha areas and tasks that require you to identify images. The legal basis for the aforementioned data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation. A legitimate interest exists on our part for this data processing to ensure the security of our website and to protect us from automated data inputs (attacks).

YouTube
For the integration and displaying of video content, our website uses plugins from YouTube. The provider of the video portal is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When a page containing an integrated YouTube plugin is accessed, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. Through this, YouTube learns which of our pages you have accessed. YouTube can map your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile if you are logged into your YouTube account. You have the option of preventing this by logging out beforehand. YouTube is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offerings. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Demographic characteristics with Google Analytics
Our website uses the “Demographics and Interests” function of Google Analytics. It can be used to create reports that contain information about the age, gender and interests of website visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google as well as visitor data from third-party providers. It is not possible to match the data to a specific person You can deactivate this function at any time. Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking
Our website uses Google AdWords. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States. AdWords is an online advertising program. As part of this online advertising program, we work with conversion tracking. After a click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is placed for conversion tracking.
