WHAT is TTE®?
A separating and base course layer in one system
TTE® elements are significantly more stable and heavier than other riding arena grids, paddock mats or turf grid plates. Due to a high own load-bearing capacity and the intelligent load distribution, up to 100% of the base course layer material can be saved on and the TTE® construction principle can be laid directly onto the building ground.
TTE® Separates Supports Dewaters
- TTE® replaces the base course layer; the components simply need a levelling course of about 5 cm, the chamber filling and maybe the covering layer
- Therefore with TTE® you save significant costs for the material and building time/costs
- Due to the ON TOP construction water can seep away permanently and the surface is usable all year round
HOW does TTE® work?
Build WITHOUT A SUBSTRUCTURE due to the load distribution

Due to the high own load-bearing capacity and the 4-sided interlocking system of the TTE® elements loading at a point from the hoof is distributed over a wider area. Therefore TTE® replaces the base course layer. The exercise area reinforcement are neither sealed nor compacted. There is no need for cost-intensive material and building works (one dispenses with excavation of the ground, procurement of base course layer material and installation).
