The ideal ground fortification for parkings

Installation without a base course

No base course is needed because of the high own weight carrying ability of the solid TTEŽ drain elements when loaded with the weight of a car. The TTEŽ lawn grid is laid directly onto the flattened building ground using a laying bed consisting of 3-5 cm of humus mixed with gravel.

Thick greenery which is easy to look after

By dispensing with a rubble base layer, capillary connections are left intact so that conditions are optimal for the supply of nutrients to the lawn. The result is a rich and dense green area that needs little maintenance.

Environmentally friendly and tested

The material the TTEŽ grid plates has been tested for environmental compatibility.

Stable interlocking

As a result of the continuous massive horizontal and vertical linkage on all four sides, the layer has its own stability and provides an intrinsically stable and level surface which can accommodate the pressure of a three ton heavy goods vehicles driving over it  –even without a base course. The broad T-formed substructure also gives the grid an extremely high load carrying capacity.

Water seeps away naturally

An area of lawn that has been fortified using the TTEŽ system remains outstandingly permeable to water, with a kf value 3.12×10-3 m/s.

The water storage capacity in the superstructure is about 40 litres per square metre.

The most important advantages:

  • As a result of its high degree of intrinsic bearing capacity and the four-sided interlocking network, the TTEŽ lawn grid does not need a base course, just a laying bed of 3-5 cm consisting of 2-5 cm of stone chippings mixed with a small amount of earth.
  • Rainwater seeps away naturally just as it would on a meadow.
  • An inexpensive system that is simple and easy to lay.
  • A rich and dense green area which is easy to look after
